This chic yet relaxed restaurant spans two floors on Kensington Church st. What we offer is not the food you've had in today’s commercial or public places on your holidays in Egypt; instead we introduce you to what the food-loving families have been eating at home for much longer than the Republic has been in existence. And it has been influenced by the long history of cosmopolitan Egypt, in particular incorporating French, Italian, and Greek ideas into our cuisine. Alexandria has been, historically, at the forefront of this endeavour.

Alexandrie Restaurant & Bar has an extensive wine list, matched to the dishes we offer. One of our specialty dishes is Molokheya, a traditional Egyptian herb soup served with rice. Another is our slow-roasted tender shank of lamb. We also offer more modern creations.

Alexandrie Restaurant & Bar is a contemporary party venue offering everything from a sophisticated cocktail reception or children’s party, to an elaborate lunch or dinner.

We organize cocktail receptions for up to 60 people, or seated dining for up to 50 guests, in our beautifully designed lower ground floor space. 

The venue has its own exclusive bar and, with our extensive selection of dining options, the possibilities are endless.
